It's been a light week here at Bean's Blog, so wanted to use Friday's blog to touch on a handful of topics in quick hit-form of what I've been watching in the world of Sports, TV, and YouTube Golf -- and what's coming this weekend. If you're looking for a new show to watch, want to know the best games to watch in Football/Basketball over the weekend, something to throw on YouTube if you're a golf fan -- this blog's for you.
NFL Week 11 Slate
Buccaneers (6-3) @ Bills (6-3)
Bills -5.5, 1:00 pm ET
2 teams with something to prove coming off a loss and sitting at 6-3. Bucs have lost a little bit of that early season magic, but Baker vs Josh Allen might be the most intriguing QB dual of the day. With likely no Bucky Irving, will be interesting to see if Tampa can establish the run against Buffalo's run-funnel defense, and if Josh can get this passing attack back on track.
Seahawks (7-2) @ Rams (7-2)
Rams -3.5, 4:05 pm ET
Battle for the top spot in the NFC West, and a match-up of 2 of the best younger coaches in football. The Rams and Matt Stafford have been a well-oiled machine passing the ball, but Seattle has looked dominant the last several weeks. Seattle's also weirdly better on the road than at home too, so I think this is anyone's game, and my #1 game to watch Sunday by a mile.
Chiefs (5-4) @ Broncos (8-2)
Chiefs -3.5, 4:25 pm ET
Not often you see a 5-4 team favored by over a FG on the road at an 8-2 team, but the Chiefs aren't your typical 5-4 team. KC is still clawing their way back into the division race, and a loss is damning for their playoff hopes all together w/ IND, LAC, DEN again all left. Denver needs to prove they're an elite team -- they've won 7 straight but scraped by bad teams like NYG, NYJ, LV, HOU.
Lions (6-3) @ Eagles (7-2)
Eagles -2.5, SNF 8:20 pm ET
A Sunday Night Football Banger between the class of the NFC. The Eagles may not look pretty lately, but they've won 3 straight and sit atop the NFC. The Lions have looked either dominant or disgusting -- no real in between -- losing 3 ugly ones but crushing opponent's in their wins. What version of each team are we going to see in the most unpredictable match-up of Week 11.

#10 Florida escapes Florida State 78-76
Florida's guards continue to struggle, 3-17 combined from 3, 7-24 from the field for Xavian Lee/Boogie Fland
Gators dominate the boards 58-36, Haugh's 20/13 and Chinyelu's 16 boards lead the way

#6 Michigan survives Wake Forest in OT 85-84
Confirmation of my preseason thoughts -- Michigan is vastly overrated
But Aday Mara is elite -- 18/13/6/5 blocks from the 7'2 Spaniard.
Elliot Cadeau is feast or famine, 17/8/7 with 5 TO's
Illini are gonna be really fucking good -- dominant 1st half, Stojakovic (22 pts) and Boswell (23 pts) were fantastic
Tech surged in the 2nd half but came up short -- JT Toppin had 25 2nd half points, finished with 35/11
Gonzaga looks dominant -- old and experienced team crushing opponents
Graham Ike 20/10, Mario Saint-Supry freshman guard will be a difference maker for the Zags
Biggest Games the rest of the Weekend
Arizona's hot start will be tested in LA vs UCLA -- expecting a close one from the former PAC-12 rivals Friday
2 Title Hopefuls square-off in Boston Saturday -- how does Hurley's veteran team handle the young Cougars?
2 Final Four teams from last season, Houston is the current #1 looking for revenge from last season on Sunday

TV Corner - What I've Watched This Week
The Chair Company - HBO Max (Comedy)
Won't be for everyone and I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but if you like Tim Robinson shows, this will be up your alley. Most recent episode was maybe the funniest so far.
Pluribus - Apple TV+ (Sci-Fi)
Had some skepticism on the concept, but the first episode is absolutely incredible. Vince Gilligan is the King of TV, his style and shooting is second to none. Rhea Seehorn is the best actress you've never heard of and is crushing the lead role. Ultra-intriguing premise and the pilot played out almost like a horror movie, while the 2nd episode settled into almost a dark-comedy.
Death By Lightning - Netflix (Period Piece/Historical Dram-Com)
Missed this one in my research for last week's blog -- Brand new miniseries on Netflix about James Garfield, 20th President of the US. It chronicles his unlikely rise and the man who would go on to assassinate him, Charles Guiteau. I'm 2 episodes into the 4 ep-miniseries, but I'm very much enjoying it as a history buff -- and think there's good comedic elements to it.
The cast was really the big draw for me. Matthew MacFadyen stars are Guiteau -- known for playing Tom Wamsgans in Succession. Michael Shannon plays Garfield, and Nick Offerman, Shea Whigham, and Bradley Whitford make up the supporting cast.
All Her Fault - Peacock (Drama/Crime-Mystery)
Only watched the first 2 episodes of this one so far, but think it's a perfectly-fine thriller/mystery put out by Peacock. Another Succession vet Sarah Snook (plays Shiv) is the lead, Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacey, Michael Pena -- another fun cast. Very intriguing plot, haven't been moved by the performances thus far, but think it'll be a good binge for many viewers.
Chad Powers - Hulu (Comedy)
I've written about it several times, but this show continues to make a fan out of me after skepticism going in. Glen Powell is just the best and it's a very funny show that can get unexpectedly dark/deep on you throughout. Rock-solid sports comedy.
Internet Invitational Golf Tournament
If you're one of the 6 million people who watched Episode 1 of this Massive YouTube Golf extravaganza, you know it's been an extremely unique and entertaining event. If you haven't been watching, consider this your wake-up call to tune in -- especially if you're a YouTube Golf Fan.
Put together by Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports (what a crossover) -- this event is an Invitational Tournament where 48 of the biggest personalities in the YouTube Golf World, Barstool Universe, and YouTube world in general are competing for a $1 Million Prize Pot.
The format is Ryder Cup-esque -- they divide the 48 golfers into 2 teams of 24, and those teams created pairings of 2 to go head-to-head with the other team's pairing. They played a 9-hole scramble match, then a 9-hole alternate shot match -- scored just like Ryder Cup -- and the Winning Team overall advanced. Those 24 golfers are then redrafted into teams of 12, repeat the process.
The 6th Episode -- The Finale -- airs Thursday Night. I won't spoil anything from the Tournament, but will give a list below of my favorite characters/creators that were involved. Go watch now on the Bob Does Sports, Fore Play Golf, or Internet Invitational YouTube Channels.
Favorites - Who I Knew Coming In:
The "Bob Does" boys -- Bob, Fat Perez, Joey Coldcuts, The Jet (sneaky star)
Wesley Bryan -- stud golfer, very funny (BryanBros on YT)
Keith Yandle and Paul Bissonnette -- my 2 favorite "Spittin' Chiclets," they're hilarious
Trent Ryan -- my favorite "Fore Play" guy
Paige Spiranac -- self-explanatory (hot)
Andrew Santino -- hysterical comedian with some golf game
Jon Gruden -- Obviously Coach Gruden is one of the best in the field
Favorites - Didn't Know Coming In:
Chaz -- the runaway Star of the Internet Invitational
Brad Dalke — just an absurdly good golfer, no drama just fairways and bomb putts
Nadeshot -- didn't have a clue who he was but was very funny/great vibes
Bubbie, Matt Scharff -- I'm not a "Good Good" golf watcher so didn't know any of them well -- these are my 2 faves
Lacey Snell, Claire Hogle, Gabby Golf Girl -- CC the Paige Spiranac section
Cole Lantz -- seems like a chiller and is a hell of a golfer
The Duke -- such an insane character that was hilarious in this mix
DOD King -- lots of people hated on DOD, I thought he was very entertaining, need to have a thorn in the mix
Roger Steele -- another I saw a lot of hate on, I thought Roger rocked and played insanely well
Peter Finch -- love me a British Accent, Finch has one of the best, as well as one of the best swings you'll see
Least Favorites - Anyone in the field I didn't like:
Riggs -- easy choice, cross-eyed loser with no entertainment value
Kyle Berkshire -- the Long-drive King is also a zero on the personality scale
Grant Horvat -- Great Golfer, absolute wet blanket of a personality
Micah Morris -- very good golfer, sure he's a nice guy, but came across as a massive douche
Luke Kwon -- if you know you know
Chandler Hallow -- didn't know him, apparently works w/ Mr. Beast? Was not entertaining
If you're watching the Internet Invitational -- let me know and tell me who your favorites are! If a lot of people are watching, I'll write a wrap-up blog next week after the finale talking about the best moments, dream invites for next year's (rumor has it Caitlin Clark is on the list), and more.
